Responsibilities
Build high-performance building blocks and large-scale pipelines for video understanding at internet scale
Solve ambiguous, open-ended research problems and turn them into production-grade systems
Optimize model inference through pre/post-processing, parallelism, pipelining, and system-level design
Work across computer vision, audio processing, and text/multimodal systems
Collaborate closely with customers and external AI teams to deliver real-world impact
Own systems end-to-end, from customer requirements to core technical abstractions
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in computer vision or audio processing
Strong Python developer with hands-on experience in PyTorch or similar ML frameworks
Comfortable working with models and APIs and extracting maximum performance from them
Product-minded engineer motivated by building end-to-end systems, not just training models
Ability to break problems down from customer-level impact to foundational building blocks
Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
Experience as an early hire at a startup
