Responsibilities
Provide integration, test, and execution support in a laboratory environment supporting complex system upgrades
Support design verification testing activities for hardware and software components across multiple system elements
Assist with lab build-up, configuration, and execution for system integration events
Develop, review, and release engineering products and documentation required to support test execution
Collaborate closely with systems engineers, electrical engineers, network engineers, system administrators, test engineers, operators, subject matter experts, and subcontractors
Coordinate and support all phases of integration, test, checkout, and verification
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network devices and systems, including routers, switches, and firewalls
Apply best practices for engineering development and configuration management
Participate in and support technical reviews, meetings, briefings, and working groups
Work independently while maintaining flexibility and composure in a highly dynamic environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline
5+ years of relevant engineering experience
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
Strong understanding of electrical and electronic system design
Working knowledge of mechanical system design
Solid understanding of network system design, from architecture through component implementation
Knowledge of communications and networking concepts and principles
Experience developing and releasing engineering drawings (AutoCAD or equivalent)
Experience with cybersecurity requirements and STIG implementation
Meets DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification requirements (e.g., CompTIA Security+ or higher)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented lab environment
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD clearance
