National Account Manager
Nter Talent is a leading foodservice packaging manufacturer seeking a National Account Manager – East to drive growth across national customers within the eastern region. This role focuses on new business development and managing existing national account relationships while collaborating with brokers and cross-functional teams to achieve profitable growth.
Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and close new national account opportunities
Grow and manage existing national account relationships
Own account strategy, pricing, bids, contracts, and profitability
Collaborate with brokers to drive new and incremental sales
Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned national accounts
Build strong selling stories and educate customers on product capabilities
Track sales trends, forecasts, promotions, and competitive activity
Support trade shows, customer food shows, product training, and plant tours
Coordinate cross-functional support including supply chain, customer service, and creative services
Manage customer onboarding, compliance, and internal sales documentation
Maintain accurate CRM, sales funnel reporting, and forecasting
Qualification
Required
Proven experience managing national or major accounts in foodservice, packaging, or CPG
Strong new business development (“hunter”) mindset
Experience working with brokers and cross-functional sales teams
Solid commercial and pricing acumen
Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
Comfortable navigating complex organizations and multiple priorities
Willingness to travel as required
