Responsibilities

You will design, implement, and integrate system and software solutions for mission-critical aviation communication systems
You will develop software supporting air-ground and ground-ground communication, command and control, logging, test tools, and OS/hardware customization
You will lead or contribute to project planning, resource estimation, and execution throughout the full development lifecycle
You will collaborate closely with system engineering, performance, network engineering, and system acceptance teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
You will support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting in lab and field environments

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Experience working in team-based environments using disciplined development processes
Experience leading software estimation and planning for teams of 3 or more engineers

Preferred

Proficiency in C and Python programming
Knowledge of object-oriented design and Linux-based systems
Experience with network protocols, data communications, and high-availability architectures
Familiarity with implementing secure, hardened solutions for mission-critical systems
