Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities within the optical measurement and specialist OEM lighting and instrumentation industry
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners worldwide
Develop strategic plans to expand market share and increase revenue
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs and result in profitable growth of the OEM business
Lead negotiations and close deals effectively
Monitor industry trends to identify emerging opportunities
Represent our company at industry events and conferences
Prepare reports on sales performance and market analysis

Qualification

Required

Proven track record of success driving technical product sales to OEM customers
A minimum of 5+ years' proven success and experience selling high-tech instruments and solutions in the photonics market space
Accomplished at qualifying opportunities which fit well with existing products and capabilities and pitching these effectively to prospective customers
Adept at navigating complex organizational structures and building relationships across purchasing, engineering, to c-level executive
Strong business acumen and ability to work well with cross-functional teams in Operations, Engineering, Finance & Marketing
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics or related field
5+ years of sales experience in the photonics or similar high-tech industry
Strong understanding of CRM software
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving targets

Preferred

MBA or advanced degrees are advantageous
Salesforce preferred
