Responsibilities
Follow all management system requirements, including ISO/IEC 17025/AOAC ALACC standards, and adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations
Register incoming samples, enter data into the Eurofins eLIMS system accurately, and maintain neat records of all daily work
Complete testing on all incoming samples efficiently to meet or exceed turnaround time goals
Verify and submit results to appropriate personnel and identify any non-conformances or out-of-specification results
Maintain cooperative working relationships across departments and communicate effectively with co-workers and clients
Identify process difficulties and propose solutions to improve the quality of work through new technologies
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma required
Must have authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship and be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
Experience with plating, plate reading, and sample preparation
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
You should be a responsive, action-oriented problem solver
Preferred
An AS or BS degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry is preferred
