Confidential company is seeking a Head of Power Interconnect to lead the technical strategy and value realization of their Power Interconnect platform. This role focuses on bridging R&D with scalable manufacturing to ensure technology investments yield profitable business results.

Marketing & Advertising

Responsibilities

Build the 3–5 year technology roadmap for Power Interconnect (Molded Busbar, Lead Frame)
Integrate customer roadmaps, competitive signals, and supply chain shifts to steer priorities
Govern major R&D and Capex decisions with strong financial cases (NPV/IRR)
Build an external technology ecosystem (partners, materials, processes)
Architect and embed a DTC/VE engine within IPD, from concept to mass production
Hold technical‑commercial sign‑off at RFQ for critical solutions, including process architecture and major Capex
Drive a “design for profit” culture with measurable KPIs (e.g., cost target achievement, VE impact)
Ensure advanced designs translate to mass production at target cost, yield, performance, and quality
Lead cross‑functional delivery for tooling, prototyping, and ramp‑up to hit timeline and capability milestones

Required

Bachelors' in Mechanical/Electrical/Materials
15+ years in global Tier‑1 automotive manufacturing industry; 8+ years senior technical leadership
Demonstrated success in roadmap leadership for a product platform/core tech area
End‑to‑end value realization—from concept to cost‑competitive mass production
Industrialization—tooling systems, Capex approvals, capacity/yield/cost targets
Deep capability in DFMEA, DTC, VE/VA, DFMA, PFMEA, APQP and process design that sticks
Strong financial acumen (NPV, IRR, scenario analysis) and executive influence in a matrix environment
Fluent in English and Mandarin

Preferred

Master's/MBA
IP track record (patents/papers) in relevant technologies is a plus
