The Director of Clinical Operations-RN is responsible for leading the Clinical Operations Division, ensuring operational effectiveness, clinical standardization, and high levels of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Provide effective leadership and direction in the delivery of support services by the Clinical Operations Division staff
Facilitate and sustain process improvement that assures operational effectiveness, clinical standardization, fiscal responsibility, customer satisfaction, and ongoing clinical excellence
Provide direction, guidance, and supervision to the Clinic Managers-RN
Support a collaborative working relationship between patient care services staff and practitioners
Lead major projects and process improvement initiatives across the enterprise
Remain ultimately accountable for outcomes, even when responsibilities are delegated
Receive direction and general supervision from the Chief Nursing Officer in support of GHC-SCW strategic goals
Support and promote the mission and strategic vision of GHC-SCW
Maintain patient confidentiality
Adhere to corporate compliance initiatives
Lead by example
Effectively communicate verbally, non-verbally, and in written form
Provide individual and small group problem-solving and guidance
Treat everyone with dignity and respect
Be resourceful and flexible in emergent situations
Demonstrate good assessment skills
Ensure efficient use of staff resources
Accountability for monitoring and sustaining the professionalism, skill, and teamwork of the assigned Clinical Operations staff in partnership with Senior Medical Director and Patient Care Services Director
Promote, support, and facilitate change initiatives
Actively participate in quality projects by initiating projects and supporting departmental leaders
Make decisions that continuously improve service to members (accessible, safe, efficient, and personalized)
Participate and lead organizational improvement initiatives
Participate in pertinent continuing education course for self-development
Review new trends and techniques/update knowledge base
Demonstrate increasing decision-making and performance development
Interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization and in the community in a professional manner
Contribute to a supportive and healthy work environment that is conducive to learning
Work closely with and communicate with other clinic staff to ensure timely and accurate clinic information is disseminated
Resolve interdepartmental concerns, questions, and issues as they arise, working in conjunction with appropriate parties
Ensure that assigned staff work collaboratively with all employees, providers, and other customers
Exhibit a positive, supportive demeanor while working on projects and collaborative initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Business or related field required
Five (5) to seven (7) years progressive leadership experience in clinical practice setting required
Possession of a valid Wisconsin's driver's license
Ability to provide own transportation to various work locations, as required
Certification or training in Continuous Improvement and/or Lean strategies
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
Adhere to corporate compliance initiatives

Ability to be resourceful and flexible in emergent situations

Ability to read and interpret financial statements
Prepare and monitor department budgets and clinic productivity

BSN preferred
Master's degree in Nursing or a relevant field is desired
Experience in similar size/type of organization (managed care) preferred
Experience in nursing and healthcare related Shared Governance preferred
