Tyson Foods is seeking driven and passionate interns to join their team and contribute to meaningful projects that drive the business forward. Interns will gain hands-on experience and develop critical skills while learning the sales process specifically within beef and/or pork and collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate shipments and order processing.

Responsibilities

Communicate with and support cross-functional leaders to execute real-world work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Learn our computer system, product codes, and interact with other departments such as scheduling, pricing, customer service, and transportation

Ensure correct product shipments, order processing, and address customer service issues

Gain an understanding of the plant process and the sales position of selling beef and/or pork

Complete a project related to your work to showcase what you have learned

Required

Pursuing a 4-year degree, preferably in Agriculture or Business

Must have completed Sophomore year and with at least one year of college remaining

Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel

Familiarity with Access, Word, and PowerPoint

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Leadership and persuasive selling abilities

Strong work ethic

Ability to multitask

Motivated self-starter

Collaborative

Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment

Resume must state your expected graduation date and your area of study

Candidates considering further education after degree completion must highlight this on their resume to ensure full consideration

For positions where relocation is not offered, students must be within a commutable distance to the facility, which is 60 miles or less

This role requires the selected candidate to work in-office at Tyson Foods' Springdale, AR World Headquarters and work as many as 40 hours per week during the summer
