Responsibilities

AST & MFT exp – An AS2 MFT gateway is a secure system used to automatically send and receive business files between companies

AS2 stands for Applicability Statement 2. It is a standard protocol for transmitting data securely over the internet. It is widely used for electronic data interchange such as purchase orders invoices shipping notices and other business documents

MFT stands for Managed File Transfer. It refers to software that controls monitors encrypts and logs file transfers so they are reliable auditable and secure

An AS2 MFT gateway combines both

Securely sends and receives files using AS2

Encrypts data during transmission

Verifies message delivery with receipts

Logs every transfer for audit tracking

Automates scheduled or event based transfers

Manages trading partner connections

SQL Database expert, but can also handle the middleware ETL as well that is required to move from system A to system B to system C as an example

SQL Queries, stored procedures

Minor application development in SQL

2012 to a 2017 SQL

Tables with 10’s of millions of data and digging into it

100k to 250k records we are moving from a ETL

Qualification

ETL DevelopmentSQL Database ExpertiseAS2 ProtocolManaged File Transfer (MFT)Application Development in SQL

Required

Experience with EDI

Experience with AS2 MFT gateway

Knowledge of AS2 protocol for transmitting data securely over the internet

Experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) software

Ability to securely send and receive files using AS2

Experience in encrypting data during transmission

Ability to verify message delivery with receipts

Experience in logging file transfers for audit tracking

Ability to automate scheduled or event-based transfers

Experience in managing trading partner connections

Expertise in SQL Database

Ability to handle middleware ETL processes

Experience with SQL Queries and stored procedures

Minor application development experience in SQL

Experience with SQL Server versions 2012 to 2017

Ability to work with tables containing tens of millions of records

Experience in moving 100k to 250k records from ETL
