Recruitment Account Manager – Subsea

Responsibilities

Develop and grow client accounts across ROV and subsea markets, including operators, contractors, vessel owners, and service companies
Identify new business opportunities through proactive outreach, referrals, industry networking, and client meetings
Build trusted relationships with hiring managers, project managers, and offshore operations teams
Promote Drift Offshores wider service offering (personnel, project support, technical expertise) to increase account penetration
Maintain a strong understanding of market rates, rotations, availability, and hiring trends to advise clients commercially
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for contract and permanent roles
Conduct detailed role intakes covering scope of work, vessel/project details, mobilisation timelines, rotations, and compliance requirements
Source candidates using LinkedIn, databases, referrals, and targeted headhunting
Coordinate interviews, manage feedback, negotiate rates/offers, and secure placements
Support mobilisation and onboarding processes including certification checks, medicals, drug/background screening, and client onboarding portals
Provide aftercare to both clients and contractors to ensure retention, repeat business, and long-term relationships
Act as a single point of contact for assigned accounts and key contractors
Deliver clear, consistent communication to clients and candidates, particularly around urgent or short-notice requirements
Manage expectations under tight project schedules while maintaining quality and compliance
Build and maintain live talent pipelines for repeat and forecasted project demand

Required

Proven experience in ROV, subsea, offshore energy, or technical engineering recruitment, ideally in a 360 or hybrid BD/delivery role
Strong understanding of offshore project-based recruitment and mobilisation timelines
Commercially confident — comfortable negotiating rates, margins, and offers
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a high-urgency environment
Professional communicator with a consultative, solutions-focused mindset

Preferred

Existing Houston-based network within ROV, subsea, offshore construction, or offshore wind markets
Experience supporting vessel-based or remote operations personnel
Familiarity with offshore certifications (BOSIET, HUET, medicals, IMCA roles, etc.)
CRM/ATS experience with strong attention to data quality and reporting
