Responsibilities
Implement, monitor, and improve cybersecurity controls across network, data, and endpoint security domains
Drive initiatives in network defense, segmentation, IDS/IPS platforms, and security monitoring
Ensure secure data handling and storage using encryption standards (SHA, AES, etc.) and PKI/certificate lifecycle management
Lead efforts in enterprise key management and certificate authority systems
Align security practices with regulatory frameworks ( ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS ) and industry best practices
Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze threats, resolve incidents, and improve defenses
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with a focus on network, data, and endpoint protection
Strong knowledge of the OSI model, layered defense approaches, and endpoint protection technologies
Experience with IDS/IPS, segmentation, monitoring tools, and advanced encryption technologies
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and proven ability to implement compliant controls
Problem-solving and analytical mindset, able to work independently and in collaborative teams
Preferred
Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, GIAC, or vendor-specific PKI/Encryption certs) strongly preferred
