IT Help Desk Analyst - Navy Undersea Warfare Program Support
Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for an IT Help Desk Analyst to support the U.S. Navy’s Team Submarine staff and program offices at the Washington Navy Yard. The role involves providing excellent information technology customer service support and includes responsibilities such as maintaining inventory, troubleshooting help desk calls, and supporting migration of services.

Responsibilities
Apply knowledge of computer science principles, information management principles, automated data processing functions, information technology engineering, hardware and software systems' structures and operation, and computer programming languages and techniques to solve problems
Tasks may include
Maintaining an inventory list of all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) to include computers, iPhones and iPads
Make recommendations to the Government to ensure GFE inventory is adequate to meet the urgent needs of the TEAM SUB Enterprise
Test ports for connectivity
Analysis of computer systems, programs, and/or planning activities
Provided direct support for help desk calls, to include SIPR/NIPR issues, Flank Speed transition, coordinating NMCI support, and iPhone related issues
Support migration of iPhone Purebred services into FLANKSPEED environment
Issue mobile devices to Team Sub personnel
Prepare, update, and process property passes for personnel and IT equipment
Escalate troubleshooting issues to NMCI when above your capability
Qualification
Required
Minimum one year of IT experience
Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills for both technical and business-related matters
Strong communication skills
Security + certification
Active Secret Clearance
Preferred
three years of IT experience
Knowledge of DoD/Navy program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management
