Responsibilities

Conduct receiving and production inspections of various products and commodities
Proficiently read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language
Perform product inspection tasks according to established Inspection Procedures
Inspect special process parts and document inspection activities on appropriate records
Record inspection results using SAP transactions
Make informed decisions regarding product acceptance based on design documentation and company workmanship criteria
Document non-conformances in products or paperwork according to company procedures
Support internal and customer audits
Prioritize product inspections based on production schedule needs
Understand and interpret design data, including drawings and Bills of Material
Use appropriate inspection methods and equipment, such as inspection hand tools and surface plates
Support multiple product lines and commodities as needed
Answer quality and inspection-related questions
Maintain relevant skills, knowledge, and certifications
Perform miscellaneous duties as required, including ACE initiatives
Create and update Inspection Procedures
Complete training and issue FAA 8130 Tags if required
Adhere to QMS policies, understand quality documents, and access them as necessary

Qualification

Required

Typically requires a HS Diploma with a minimum of 2 year of relevant experience
Manufacturing Inspection experience
Proficiently read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language
