Responsibilities
Lead the electrical scope for EPU projects, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance
Direct and review electrical system designs, ensuring compliance with IEEE, NRC, NERC, and fleet standards
Coordinate with EPC contractors, OEMs, and site engineering to ensure compatibility and constructability of electrical modifications
Support Owner’s Engineer and independent reviews to validate design quality, operability, and reliability
Provide technical leadership for resolving electrical issues to maintain project and outage milestones
Ensure electrical designs support long-term operability, maintainability, and integration into the fleet’s systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
10+ years of nuclear engineering experience, with 5+ years in electrical systems design, modification, or major projects
Direct experience with Extended Power Uprates, electrical upgrades, switchyard/grid integration, or equivalent $1B+ projects
Strong knowledge of NRC, INPO, IEEE, NERC, and ANSI codes and standards
Demonstrated ability to lead electrical engineering teams and coordinate with EPCs, OEMs, and site operations
Preferred
Experience supporting regulatory submittals and addressing NRC/INPO or NERC compliance questions preferred
