Responsibilities
Gain exposure to a number of disciplines within investment banking and capital markets
Sharpen financial analysis skills and develop an understanding of corporate markets and clients
Gain experience in corporate finance and with investment banking products through on-the-job training
Support internal and external clients as a Summer Analyst in the Securitized Products Group
Interact with other groups and disciplines throughout the investment bank
Assist in arranging asset-backed revolving loans and issuing asset-backed securities to institutional investors
Learn the basic principles of structuring transactions and work directly with senior bankers
Use Excel to model cash flows and organize complex data sets into actionable material
Compile information on the asset-backed securities market to create client-facing presentations
Attend meetings and calls with clients, investors, and other banks
Review complex legal documentation to ensure it accurately reflects transaction terms
Analyze company financial statements to project future performance and assess default risk
Produce credit memorandums to present prospective deals to senior members of Truist’s risk organization
Qualification
Required
Final graduation with a BA/BS degree December 2027 or June 2028
Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
Superior written and oral communication skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
Language Fluency: English (Required)

Prior completion of Accounting or Finance coursework
High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement
