Responsibilities
Manage and execute month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements
Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the integrity of accounting records
Conduct detailed account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues effectively
Oversee bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and bank statements
Review and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial reporting needs and improve processes
Analyze financial data to support decision-making and enhance operational efficiency
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements during all accounting processes
Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries
Continuously evaluate and improve accounting procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar accounting role
Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in month-end close processes and journal entry preparation
Demonstrated expertise in account and bank reconciliations
Familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work collaboratively with teams and communicate effectively
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
