Employee Benefits & Executive Comp Associate
Interlink Talent Solutions is representing a top 10 AM Law firm seeking a talented Associate for their Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice in New York. This role involves advising on complex compensation and benefits issues related to M&A transactions and collaborating with various teams on both domestic and cross-border matters.
Responsibilities
Advise on executive compensation and employee benefits matters in connection with M&A transactions, with a particular focus on private equity deals
Support public-company executive compensation matters, including disclosure, governance, and compliance issues
Provide strategic advice on incentive compensation arrangements, equity plans, and executive employment arrangements
Collaborate closely with corporate, private equity, and tax teams on cross-border and domestic transactions
Assist clients with ongoing executive compensation and benefits issues outside of transactional contexts
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2+ years' experience in executive compensation and employee benefits matters
Strong experience advising on compensation and benefits in the context of M&A transactions, particularly private equity
Experience with public-company executive compensation matters
Admission to the New York Bar, or eligibility to seek admission
Excellent academic credentials and strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
