Doppelt and Forney, APLC is a prestigious law firm seeking a Legal Receptionist to serve as the front-line representative. The role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing the front desk, and offering administrative support to attorneys and legal staff.

Law Practice

Responsibilities

Greet clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
Manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable
Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
Assist with side projects from attorneys, paralegals, and marketing
Experience with Accounts Receivable and Collection for Family Law
Assist clients with general inquiries and provide basic information about the firm's services
Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff as needed
Coordinate meetings, conferences, and appointments
Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages
Assist in preparing and organizing legal documents
Effectively communicate with internal staff and external clients to relay messages and information
Manage email correspondence and ensure timely responses
Utilize office equipment and technology, including phone systems, computer software, and document management systems
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information and internal matters
Address and resolve issues or conflicts that may arise at the front desk
Escalate complex matters to the appropriate personnel

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office management is a plus
Law Office experience with Accounts Receivable (Required)
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in a legal setting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to handle multiple tasks and calls simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Professional appearance and demeanor
