Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, maintaining detailed and accurate records as required by Allied Universal protocols
Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with inquiries or directions while maintaining a presence that helps to deter unauthorized access
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, following established procedures for the location
Remain alert to surroundings while on patrol, and promptly address any security-related concerns or hazards identified during shifts
Qualification
Required
Must have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED
Must be at least 21 years of age
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred
Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred
