Responsibilities

Partner with sales and account teams to support pre-sales pursuits, including RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and strategic customer engagements
Lead discovery activities in support of opportunity development to understand customer business objectives, IT landscape, regulatory considerations, and desired outcomes
Design and position proposed end-to-end ServiceNow solution architectures that align to customer priorities and platform capabilities, emphasizing out-of-the-box functionality and best practices to maximize value, scalability, and time-to-value
Translate customer requirements into compelling solution narratives that balance technical feasibility, business value, and commercial considerations
Advise customers and internal stakeholders on the impact of new and emerging technologies as part of solution positioning and proposal development
Develop pre-sales solution artifacts including architectural diagrams, solution blueprints, and high-level platform blueprints to support proposals and customer decision-making
Recommend appropriate ServiceNow products and capabilities (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, IRM/GRC, CSM, TPSM, HRSD, App Engine, Now Assist) based on customer needs, priorities, and pursuit context
Design and deliver tailored ServiceNow demonstrations, prototypes, and proofs of concept that clearly articulate business value and use-case relevance
Configure demo environments and workflows to support sales messaging and proposed solutions
Collaborate with ServiceNow as needed to support customer engagements and platform presentations
Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and statements of work by defining solution scope, assumptions, and implementation approaches
Support commercial discussions by shaping solutions that are technically sound, cost-effective, and aligned to customer outcomes
Develop and maintain solution cost models for both project delivery and ongoing support
Maintain awareness of competitive positioning and ServiceNow differentiators
Maintain knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, roadmap, and release capabilities, including core products and industry solutions
Provide guidance on platform architecture, governance models, and best practices
Provide a structured handover from sales to delivery, documenting and presenting solution intent and key assumptions to ensure continuity through the transition
Review and synthesize delivery feedback to identify bid-relevant lessons learned and share validated insights with pre-sales and sales teams to inform future pursuits
Represent the company in customer forums, industry events, and ServiceNow community engagements as appropriate, with some travel as required
Consultative, value-driven approach to translating business challenges into differentiated ServiceNow solution strategies
Strong executive-level communication and storytelling skills across technical and business audiences
Experience shaping strategic solution roadmaps and producing high-quality bid and proposal artifacts

Required

7+ years of experience in the ServiceNow ecosystem, including hands-on experience in enterprise solution architecture and pre-sales engagements
Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, integrations, and multiple platform applications
Experience with CSDM, CMDB best practices, and ITIL® processes
Ability to translate complex business requirements into compelling solution narratives and supporting documentation
Proficiency in creating pre-sales deliverables, including presentations (PowerPoint), architectural and process diagrams (Visio), and supporting documentation
Experience developing statements of work and solution cost models, including financial analysis using Excel
