Responsibilities

Provide expert advice to leadership and business partners on the accounting implications of complex transactions

Prepare and review technical accounting memos and other documentation to support accounting positions

Provide guidance on accurate interpretation and effective implementation of business control processes and policies

Stay abreast of changes in accounting guidance and assess impacts to accounting policies

Clearly communicates accounting guidance and impacts at the appropriate level (e.g., staff and peers, various L3Harris teams including executive management, external auditors, external advisors)

Develop effective, collaborative relationships with segment and functional teams

Liaise with external auditors to support the company’s positions

Assist with financial reporting tasks as necessary

Support internal and external audit activities as required

Lead or assist in ad hoc projects such as M&A and other non-routine transactions, as necessary

Required

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience

CPA with active license

6 or more years of public accounting experience with a Big Four or National firm
