They are seeking a Q-SYS programmer and commissioner to design and build Q-SYS systems, focusing on user experience and interface design.
Design Services
Responsibilities
Design and build Q-SYS systems with a strong focus on user experience and interface design
Create and refine custom UCI layouts (Q-SYS UCI Viewer), including CSS-based styling
Improve and evolve existing systems as spaces, content, and client needs change
Provide occasional remote, on-call support for live systems
Collaborate directly with designers, owners, and end users to translate creative intent into intuitive control experiences
Travel occasionally within the Rocky Mountain region for commissioning or support
Qualification
Required
Q-SYS Level 2 certified
Experience designing polished, intuitive control interfaces
Working knowledge of CSS for UCI customization
Comfortable supporting real-world, in-use systems
~3–5 years of experience, ideally in themed entertainment or experiential AV
Strong communication skills and comfort working independently
Preferred
Dante audio networking experience
Familiarity with BrightSign, Netgear AV switches, Powersoft or LEA amplifiers
Experience with specialty AV hardware (AtteroTech, Alcorn McBride, etc.)
