Responsibilities

Analyze solution designs to ensure data integrity, optimize database performance, and identify potential bottlenecks
Work with developers to optimize database queries, tune database configurations, and implement performance enhancements
Proactively monitor database performance using monitoring tools, identify and resolve performance issues, and recommend solutions for data volume changes
Conduct security code assessments to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices
Research and recommend new database features and technologies to improve the overall system architecture and performance

Required

Minimum of 5 years of experience serving as a Sr. Database Engineer in a regulated and compliant environment
SQL, Database Performance Tuning, Security Auditing, Data Modeling, PL/SQL
CASP+CE, CISSP, CSSLP (IASE II) (one certification required)

Preferred

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
