Responsibilities

Supporting the daily operations of Windows Server operating systems
Providing support, maintenance, and delivery of server infrastructure services for MNIT customers
Performing standard and routine server administration activities
Participating in ticket triage
Providing operational support in coordination with team members to ensure continued service delivery

Required

Position requires a minimum of two (2) years of IT related experience in server administration and operational support
Experience supporting and administering Windows Server operating systems
Experience supporting Windows servers in physical, virtual, or cloud environments
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud environments
Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation or system administration tasks
Experience working within an enterprise ticketing system to manage incidents, changes, and work requests
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a manner that facilitates mutual understanding
Customer-focused approach grounded in active listening, empathy, and solution-oriented problem-solving to deliver positive user experiences
Education in Information Technology (IT) or an IT related field may substitute for experience as follows: a master's degree for eighteen (18) months of experience; a bachelor's degree for one (1) year; and an associate's degree for six (6) months

Preferred

Experience supporting Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) environments
Experience using configuration management or automation tools, such as Ansible, Terraform, Desired State Configurations (DSC), or similar tools
Experience supporting enterprise patching and vulnerability remediation efforts
Experience using enterprise monitoring tools to identify and respond to system issues
Experience creating or maintaining technical documentation or procedures
Experience with Linux operating systems, such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, in a mixed-OS enterprise environment
