Responsibilities
Provide high-level support to department leadership
Ensure seamless daily operations by streamlining workflows and resolving challenges independently
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, the public, and hospital providers, and the business office
Manage and direct phone calls as appropriate
Manage processes related to medical imaging and laboratory results, including communication with patients
Maintain up-to-date information on all applicable rosters
Schedule department and individual meetings
Prepare agendas and PowerPoint presentations for department meetings
Record, type, and distribute department meeting minutes
Monitor the office supply budget for the department cost center
Qualification
Required
High school diploma
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Strong multitasking and time management skills
Preferred
Additional qualifications as an Administrative assistant or Secretary
