Specialist, East Region Transatlantic Sales Development

Responsibilities

Sales Initiation with Existing and prospective Trans-Atlantic Clients (30%)
Collaboration and coordination with Overseas and Branch locations (30%)
Quotation support for ER Trans-Atlantic Bus (30%)
Administrative Support for Regional Sales Activities (10%)
Maintain industry and market database, files and information
Prepare and support client quotation. Bids and RFQ’s through coordination and data base creation
Communicate with customers to provide the information and/or seek information to assist
Customer service support for new and existing sales programs
Active Collaboration with East Region Branches and Overseas offices to develop forwarding business
Day to Day interface between NEU East Region and NX/CP EU members for aligning customer requests and execution
Create SOP for customer business and align with internal operations for understanding
Oversee specific customer requirements and ensure execution by branch according to SOP
Create Customer KPI reports as needed

Required

High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Strong computer and analytical skills – Powerpoint, Word, Excel
Strong teamwork skills and inclination
Good communications skill – listening, providing and receiving feedback
Process improvement
Patience – ability to deal with complex processes that may involve multiple levels of approval
Interest in sales

Preferred

Some college desirable
Familiar with logistics concepts desirable
