Responsibilities
Lead the process design and development of water and wastewater treatment facilities
Deliver treatment solutions across pump stations, lift stations, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, ozone treatment, filtration, and chemical systems
Provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, from concept through detailed design and implementation
Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical quality
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers
Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements
Support client engagement by translating technical requirements into practical engineering solutions
Identify opportunities for process optimisation, innovation, and sustainable design improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
10+ years' experience in water and/or wastewater process design, with strong exposure to treatment systems
Proficiency with AutoCAD and water process modelling/design tools (e.g. WaterCAD or similar)
Strong technical reporting, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred
Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
