Responsibilities

Lead, oversee and supervise members of the recruiting team
Plan and implement on-going talent acquisition strategy
Consult with leaders, hiring managers, and human resources team on position descriptions, advertising programs, compensation, and sourcing strategies
Develop company’s policy for talent benchmarking, talent assessment, and interviewing
Perform analysis of organizational development and anticipate future employment need
Find bottlenecks in the recruiting process
Suggest measures for improving employee retention
Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
Manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and retain according to company policy
Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone or in person), administer appropriate assessments and reference/background/credit checks, make recommendations for hire (or not to hire), deliver employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt positions within an assigned region, and close qualified candidates
Communicate important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits and compensation, etc.)
Build relationships with business leaders through education and execution of all steps of the recruitment process
Work closely with management on all diversity initiatives involving recruitment to ensure fairness in hiring practices
Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance
Work closely with Sales department to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges
Design, plan and execute employer branding activities while encouraging direct reports to be brand ambassadors
Plan employee referral programs
Manage the sign-on bonus and driver referral bonus program
Manage internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc
Perform candidate and employee satisfaction evaluations and workshops
Plan procedures for improving the candidate experience
Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment, and sourcing methodologies
Act as liaison with area employment agencies
Analyze hiring needs and provide recruiting metrics and hiring forecasts to company’s leadership
Maintain memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
