Responsibilities

Lead the computer vision project portfolio for Airbus Aerostructures, providing technical guidance and mentoring to specialists while fostering an innovative environment
Design, develop, and deploy robust computer vision models and applications tailored for diverse industrial use cases
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of projects within the platform, from initial R&D to production-level maintenance
Drive strategic planning by identifying new technologies and contributing to the team’s computer vision roadmap
Collaborate with transnational teams across the Airbus Group, including data engineers and manufacturing experts, to integrate AI solutions into existing processes
Ensure technical quality and scalability of solutions, maintaining compliance with relevant airworthiness standards and requirements
Stay at the forefront of innovation by integrating the latest advancements in Deep Learning and Computer Vision into current projects

Qualification

Required

Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Computer Vision or Machine Learning
Extensive professional experience (5+ years) in Computer Vision, Data Science, or Machine Learning
Proven track record in leading teams or managing complex technical projects
Expertise in frameworks and platforms such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras, coupled with strong Python programming skills
Experience with Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and deploying ML models at a production level
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset for tackling complex challenges
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse, multinational environment
