Business Development/Clinical Outreach Professional

BrentCare Behavioral Health is focused on providing mental health services for children and adolescents. They are seeking a Business Development/Clinical Outreach Professional to build and manage referral relationships with various stakeholders to ensure timely access to care for youth in need of intensive mental health services.

Responsibilities

Build And Maintain Strong Referral Relationships With
School districts, counselors, and special education teams
Outpatient therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists
Hospitals, ERs, and inpatient psychiatric units
Pediatricians, primary care providers, and community agencies
Educate referral sources on PHP services, admission criteria, and clinical programming
Serve as a trusted point of contact for referral questions and coordination
Conduct in-person and virtual presentations to schools and community partners
Attend community events, resource fairs, and professional meetings
Represent the program professionally within the community
Collaborate with leadership on outreach strategies and growth initiatives
Coordinate closely with admissions and clinical teams to facilitate referrals
Ensure smooth communication from initial referrals through admission
Follow up with referral sources regarding outcomes and next steps
Track referral activity, contacts, and outreach efforts in CRM systems
Provide regular reports on referral trends, pipeline activity, and outreach outcomes
Identify opportunities for new partnerships and service expansion

Required

Bachelor's degree in healthcare, social work, psychology, marketing, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in behavioral health outreach, business development, or community relations
Knowledge of child and adolescent mental health services (PHP, IOP, RTC, inpatient preferred)
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple relationships
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally

Preferred

Experience working with schools or school-based mental health systems
Familiarity with insurance plans, managed care, and authorization processes
CRM or referral tracking experience
Master's degree in a related field
