Responsibilities
Develop infrastructure such as microservices to streamline and support the deployment and operationalization of machine learning/AI models
Manage team to facilitate department objectives including mentoring, developing, and coaching
Design and maintain data pipelines, data lakes, and ML/AI model deployment frameworks
Lead the development of scalable and secure cloud-based infrastructure
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand infrastructure needs and deliver solutions
Automate data ingestion, transformation, and ML/AI workflow processes to improve efficiency
Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory standards
Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovations
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
5 years' experience in data engineering, ML infrastructure, or similar roles
Minimum 2 years of experience managing or leading technical teams preferred
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Data Engineer, etc.) are preferred but not required
