Responsibilities

Provide expert support for the modification, troubleshooting, and resolution of mission systems issues for the P-8 aircraft, focusing on the I3B2 modification program
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and assess I3B2 program modification performance to ensure seamless mod incorporation onto the aircraft platform with particular focus on optimization of mission systems integration
Support troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and resolve mission system test failures during the modification program
Work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and technical contractors to diagnose mission systems issues, define technical solutions, and communicate progress and updates related to aircraft modifications and support

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
5+ years' experience in mission systems engineering, including experience with aircraft modifications, system integration, evaluation and airworthiness planning and management
Collaborate with both the engineering workforce and the mechanics on the factory floor
Strong analytic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
Experience in a role that required excellent oral and written communication skills
This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 is required. 'U.S. Person' includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Preferred

9+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Active Security Clearance
Experience working on P-8 Increment 3 Block 2 (I3B2) or similar modification programs
Familiarity with technical aspects of the P-8 aircraft or 737 and its mission systems
Experience working with USN program management or military customers
