Responsibilities

Gathering and documenting clear, unambiguous, and testable business requirements from the client
Working with the project team and stakeholders to examine existing and future-state business processes, data, and systems
Facilitating requirement gathering meetings to identify impacted business processes and document the project business requirements
Adhering to the project schedule by developing and maintaining the project backlog during Agile projects
Working with the product owner to set priority throughout the duration of project
Understanding project scope and actively monitoring requirements process to maintain adherence to the objectives set for the project
Understanding high-level information governance objectives and ensuring appropriate Stakeholder inclusion and/or awareness regarding data requirements
Providing information and analysis for Build vs. Buy project decisions
Understanding project specific benefits and related impact of changes to project scope or business requirements
Ensuring SEM deliverables for the project that are a responsibility of the BPRS are completed, reviewed, and approved in alignment with area processes
Working directly with project team including user interface/user experience (UI/UX) solution architects, database administrators, developers, QA testers, and others to ensure understanding of the requirements, functionality, size, and scalability of the IT solution
Providing training/shadowing/coaching to existing and upcoming BA/QA roles and SMEs and tailoring existing content and processes to the business area needs

Required

Bachelor's Degree
Training/Teaching Background - 5+ years
Business Analyst SME - 5+ years
Experience with Azure DevOps (comfortable with creating epics/features for projects) - 5+ years
Experience with as-is/to-be processes and content creation - 5+ years
Adept with using/teaching tools (e.g., FIGMA, Visio) - 3+ years
Strong written and oral communication skills are a must for this position
Local candidates only. Candidates must be located in the State of Michigan within 1 hour of Lansing, MI at time of submission
Must be authorized to work in the US without VISA sponsorship by the State of Michigan at the time of conversion
