Responsibilities
Hardware Installation and Decommissioning: This includes physically installing, configuring, and decommissioning servers, network devices, and other data center equipment
Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and resolving hardware and networking issues, performing component-level repairs, and potentially handling basic software issues
Rack and Stack: Mounting, connecting, and configuring racks, ensuring correct cabling and power connections
Cable Management: Installing, labeling, and troubleshooting fiber, copper, and other cabling infrastructure
Documentation: Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
Inventory: Managing inventory of hardware components, ordering replacements, and handling returns
Qualification
Required
US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US
Physically installing, configuring, and decommissioning servers, network devices, and other data center equipment
Diagnosing and resolving hardware and networking issues
Performing component-level repairs
Handling basic software issues
Mounting, connecting, and configuring racks
Ensuring correct cabling and power connections
Installing, labeling, and troubleshooting fiber, copper, and other cabling infrastructure
Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
