Responsibilities

Designing efficient and scalable database structures to meet application and user needs
Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
Developing and maintaining data models and database schemas
Optimizing database performance through query tuning, index optimization, and other techniques
Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security through various measures
Working with software engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to integrate databases with applications and systems
Identifying and resolving database-related issues, performing regular maintenance, and ensuring smooth operation
Creating and maintaining documentation for database designs, code, and procedures

Required

Bachelor's degree and/or 2 to 5 years of experience
Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with CI Poly
Strong command of SQL for querying, manipulating, and managing data
Experience with database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
Understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques
Ability to analyze and resolve database-related issues effectively
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Ability to analyze data and performance metrics to optimize database systems

Preferred

Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or .NET may be beneficial
