Sr. Copywriter

Scalence L.L.C. is seeking a Sr. Copywriter for a contract position. The role involves managing multiple projects and delivering creative content that aligns with brand standards and strategies.

Responsibilities

Use a creative brief to inform and differentiate work
Manage multiple deadlines on numerous projects happening at the same time
Deliver error-free work, using best practices with keen attention to detail
Use judgment in incorporating feedback and making decisions for work
Determine when to use existing solutions or start from scratch
Understand the goals of a project, take direction well, and ask questions when clarity is necessary
Align work to evolving brand standards, brand voice, AP Style etc
Present work in a compelling way to create support across different audiences
Use strategy to inform creative decisions
Understand the importance of integrated thinking across channels, products, and audiences, while staying true to the brand
Partner well with a team—art directors, creative directors, brand and marketing strategists
Proactively and autonomously own work

Required

At least 3 years of copywriting experience at an agency or client side
Must have copywriting experience creating marketing/advertising that is rooted in brand strategy
A portfolio website that showcases writing across various channels as well as conceptual ability
Experience partnering with an AD partner to ideate and elevate a creative ask
Big picture thinking that allows candidate to integrate their copy across channels and experiences
Experience with digital-first marketing as well as in-person experience marketing- activation in physical space or signage
