CGI is looking to hire a skilled and experienced Senior Data Modeler to support the analysis, design, and implementation of enterprise information solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to translate business requirements into logical data models and ensure alignment with physical data models.

Responsibilities

Analyze and translate business requirements into conceptual and detailed logical data models

Develop logical data models based on existing applications and databases

Contribute to the ongoing refinement of data modeling standards and guidelines

Collaborate with business architects, data architects, and data stewards to capture business requirements in logical data models

Assist in evaluating and recommending appropriate data platforms for solutioning efforts

Review implemented application databases for compliance with modeling standards

Assess physical data models to ensure alignment with logical data models

Required

10+ years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in 3NF logical, dimensional, and physical data modeling

Proficiency in: Metadata management and related tools

Proficiency in: Relational and document database technologies

Proficiency in: Business process modeling

Proficiency in: Physical data modeling for document stores

Bachelor's degree
