Performs general clerical and technical work involving the preparation and maintenance of fiscal and related records

Maintains office files, account records and a variety of other records; public contact including receiving and providing information and problem solving

The Accounting Clerk performs a wide variety of clerical account keeping, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence

Required

Graduation from High School supplemented by courses in Accounting/Finance or equivalent required

Hands-on experience with Excel or Word

Working knowledge of windows based personal computers

Preferred

A minimum of three (3) years office experience or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to achieve the job requirements
