Responsibilities

Conduct secure design reviews and implement security controls for on-premises and cloud environments
Collaborate with domain architects and product managers to define security requirements and deployment patterns
Define solution intent, operating environments, and non-functional requirements for new initiatives
Review and approve projects for compliance with security policies and industry standards
Perform architecture reviews across IAM, data protection, application security, network security, and analytics
Deliver secure designs aligned with reference architectures and business needs
Evaluate strategic design decisions and ensure solutions are fit for purpose
Contribute to security best practices, templates, and architecture roadmaps
Translate business and threat drivers into practical security capabilities
Support development teams with architectural guidance and solution options
Conduct design reviews to validate non-functional requirements
Collaborate with other security architects to share insights and best practices

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
Minimum 10+ years of experience in designing, building, and managing security infrastructure or solutions
Broad knowledge across multiple security domains and customer authentication processes
Ability to document risks, evaluate remediation options, and present findings to technical and executive stakeholders
Adaptability in dynamic environments and effective collaboration with diverse teams
Experience with AI security
Expertise in security technology implementation across on-premise, public, and private cloud environments
Strong understanding of enterprise security frameworks and secure design principles
Familiarity with NIST 800-53, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27000 series, COBIT

Preferred

CISSP, CSSLP certifications preferred; other security certifications are a plus
