Inspection Technician

Cunningham Security is a family-owned business dedicated to protecting homes and businesses throughout Northern New England. The Inspection Technician will perform system inspections, conduct basic maintenance, and ensure that security systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

Inspect and test customer alarm systems, including sensors, motion detectors, and smoke detectors
Change system batteries as needed
Learn and utilize software systems such as Sedona and Building Reports
Accurately document inspections, maintenance, and repairs
Troubleshoot basic system issues, as trained
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Communicate effectively with team members and customers

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must pass background and driving record checks

NICET or IPSI certification preferred—or willingness to obtain
