Responsibilities
Perform beginning level technical work in the creation, maintenance, and retention of inmates’ criminal history and identification records
Assist in the compilation, review, evaluation, and validation of inmate records
Gather documentation from a variety of sources in response to requests for information
Compile information and prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents
Maintain up-to-date inmate records
Process incoming and outgoing inmate transfer records
Photograph and fingerprint inmates
Perform sentence computations
Qualification
Required
Two years of clerical or correctional custodial experience; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements
