Start in 2026 SummerASML is a leading company in the development of lithography machines for microchip production. They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to assist Production Engineers in the development of manufacturing processes for new products, including updating CAD models and implementing statistical process controls.

Responsibilities
Updating CAD/NX Models for ongoing facility renovation projects
Helping with SPC (Statistical Process Control) implementation for particle cleanliness data
Contamination Control projects/monitoring
Assembly Tooling setup and qualification
Procedures illustration creation in Siemens Teamcenter/NX
Drafting technical work instructions and engineering test plans and assisting in troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical problems
Qualification
Required
Student attaining at least a Bachelor's of Science in a Mechanical, Electrical, & Industrial/Manufacturing
High preference for candidates with a background in manufacturing
Can observe and respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered in the course of work
Can learn and apply new information or skills
Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents
Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism
Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads
Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability
Identifies bottlenecks and drives improvements
Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision
Demonstrate open, clear, concise and professional communication
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and customer
Work according to a strict set of procedures within the provided timelines
Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift
Can work under deadlines
Must be willing to work a compressed work week schedule – twelve-hour long shift and rotating from three to four days a week
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access controlled technology prior to beginning work
