Responsibilities
Perform the work as assigned by the department supervisor
Assembles the materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished products from raw materials
You are a team player, thorough and detail-orientated, very observant, and have technical abilities
Attach appropriate labels to products and packages
Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes
Notify the supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
Place finished goods on the designated pallet
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Adhere to Quality Control Standards
Other duties required by the department supervisor
Qualification
Required
Experience in a manufacturing facility preferred, but not required as training will be provided
High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D) preferred
Ability to stand for 100% of the shift
Ability to climb up ladders and walk throughout the facility
Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms, including overhead; stoop, bend, kneel, and crouch
Ability to communicate clearly
Ability to regularly push, pull, lift, carry materials and products weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to varying and sometimes uncontrolled temperature conditions
Ability to work in moderate noise levels and with moving mechanical parts
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
