Responsibilities

Extracting transmission line data from 3d models and converting into GIS maps
Reviewing data for errors and performing data cleanup where necessary
Cross-referencing line data from various software sources and filling in missing data
Importing the data into line modeling software and troubleshooting data issues
Calculating line impedances and determining the cause for changes

Qualification

GIS mappingData analysisPower systems knowledgeMicrosoft OfficeOrganizational skillsTechnical communication

Required

By start date, a minimum of 30 completed college-level credit hours is required preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics
The ability to work with and understand technical concepts, while also being able to communicate them to non-technical personnel
Basic knowledge of the electric grid
Strong organizational skills
Strong skills and capabilities in Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel)

Preferred

Knowledge of power systems
Advanced user of Microsoft products, specifically Word and Excel
