Digital Futurus is seeking a senior SAP FICO-focused Project Manager to lead SAP implementation initiatives with a strong emphasis on Finance and Controlling (FICO). This role requires a hands-on SAP FICO leader with solid project management experience to drive successful end-to-end implementations, particularly within manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Serve as the functional lead for SAP FICO, ensuring solution design aligns with business and financial requirements

Manage SAP implementation projects with a strong FICO-first approach, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality are met

Lead all phases of SAP FICO implementations, including requirements gathering, blueprinting, configuration oversight, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support

Apply deep expertise across SAP FICO functions, including: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing and Cost Object Controlling, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Project System (PS), Results Analysis, and Settlement, Month-End and Year-End Close, Overhead Assessment and Settlement

Drive integration between SAP FICO and MM, PP, and SD, ensuring end-to-end financial and operational process alignment

Translate complex business and finance processes into clear SAP FICO functional requirements and solutions

Ensure compliance with US GAAP, financial reporting standards, and internal controls

Coordinate and guide onsite and offshore teams, providing functional direction and project oversight

Communicate effectively with finance leadership, business stakeholders, and IT teams to manage risks, issues, and dependencies

Required

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred

12+ years of SAP experience, with deep hands-on expertise in SAP FICO and at least 3 full-cycle SAP FICO implementations in a manufacturing environment

Demonstrated experience leading SAP FICO workstreams or acting as a functional lead with project management responsibility

Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements

Proven ability to work across functional teams and manage stakeholders effectively

Excellent communication and leadership skills
