Payroll Compliance Supervisor
ITG Communications, LLC is seeking a Payroll Compliance & Payments Supervisor to oversee payroll compliance, statutory payments, and regulatory reporting across all jurisdictions. The role involves managing compliance-related payroll functions and ensuring alignment with federal, state, and local payroll regulations to mitigate compliance risk and ensure timely payroll execution.

Responsibilities
Oversee multi-state payroll compliance, including wage and hour laws, state-specific requirements, prevailing wage rules, and jurisdictional pay timing regulations
Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of state and local tax accounts, registrations, and jurisdiction mappings
Manage and review payroll tax filings and notices, amendments, and agency correspondence in partnership with payroll provider and tax agencies
Monitor legislative changes impacting payroll compliance and recommend process updates accordingly
Ensure corrections properly reconcile year-to-date wages, taxes, and benefit deductions
Manage compliance related payroll functions that could include garnishments, benefit arrears, NMSOs, employee leave programs
Establish and maintain internal payroll controls, audit trails, and compliance documentation
Drive automation and standardization of compliance-related payroll processes were feasible
Partner cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Legal, and IT on payroll compliance initiatives
Assist with complex or escalated paycheck issues and inquiries from human resources. Provide prompt resolution of problems or discrepancies

Qualification
Required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex payroll issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with administrators, human resources, and managers
High level attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with deadlines
Several years of progressive experience in multi-state payroll compliance, including tax filings and regulatory reporting
Advanced proficiency with payroll systems (ADP required)
Proficient computer skills, including experience with spreadsheet software and data entry systems
Strong knowledge of payroll principles, regulations, and best practices
Ability to stand, walk, sit
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Ability to use hands to handle or feel
Ability to reach with hands and arms
Ability to climb and balance
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to maintain all safety expectations
Ability to drive a covered vehicle
