Responsibilities
Prepare payroll in QuickBooks including commission and updates
Conduct sales tax auditing to ensure accurate submissions
Send team member birthday/anniversary gifts
Vet applicants for hiring processes
Conduct initial interviews and document notes on candidates
Build agendas for company-wide meetings and ensure they are on calendars
Review goals/KPIs with leadership weekly
Qualification
Required
Basic training in both HR/operations and accounting
1 year of hands-on experience using QuickBooks
Desire to continually learn and improve HR and accounting skills
Alignment with the company's vision, mission, and core values
Preferred
QuickBooks Online certification
Completed coursework in human resources, business law, and financial accounting
Experience with state tax compliance (e.g., sales tax, franchise tax, payroll tax, business tax returns)
