Responsibilities
Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day revenue cycle functions, including patient registration, charge capture, coding, claims processing, and collections
Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with senior leadership to implement revenue cycle strategies that support organizational goals and financial objectives
Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies and implement best practices, automation, and technology solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to HIPAA, CMS guidelines, payer policies, and industry standards
Financial Performance: Monitor KPIs and revenue cycle metrics, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions to achieve performance targets
Team Development: Lead and mentor managers and staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Denials Management: Develop and oversee strategies to reduce claim denials and improve reimbursement rates
Patient Financial Experience: Enhance transparency and clarity in billing processes, ensuring timely resolution of patient inquiries
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or related field
7+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS), claims processing, and payer regulations
Proven ability to lead teams and drive operational improvements
Experience with RCM technology, EHR systems, and automation tools
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or related field
