Responsibilities

Provide critical support to Security Operations at the Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution (EOCI)
Offer administrative assistance while handling highly sensitive and confidential tasks
Support the Group Living Manager and collaborate with the Assistant Superintendent of Special Housing
Assist Recreation Specialists in drafting proposals for events
Provide coverage and support for Enrichment Club activities
Manage supply and product requests related to Recreation
Provide coverage for the Office Specialist in areas such as reception, minority affairs, and Adult in Custody (AIC) work programs
Work closely with the Special Housing team tracking programming and out of cell time for AIC’s
Serve as a backup for Executive Support Services for Special Housing by taking meeting minutes, organizing meetings and travel arrangements for Special Housing staff, and maintaining confidential personnel files

Required

Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR
An associate degree in any field; OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience
Organizing, prioritizing, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and fast paced organization
Interpreting and applying statutes, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Process, review, and track reports and documents
Managing and working with confidential information
Prepare records and reports
Filing and tracking data both electronically and hard copy
Pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility
